My dedication to service began at age 12 while volunteering in migrant farmworker camps in Minnesota. Today, I serve on my local watershed council, mentor MBA/JD and high school students, and am active in Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce. After living and working in South and Central America and Africa, my husband and I settled in Oregon, where we have restored a large woodland property in collaboration with many partners and craftsmen. Since 2009, I have participated in the Spark Project, a collaborative artist collective where each 10-day round invites new work inspired by another artist’s contribution. The resulting pieces are displayed alongside each other.
